Instrotech's PA-22 PS is a compact programmable pressure switch. It also has an analog transmitter output signal (0,5 to 4,5 V) and will continuously monitor a process via the analog signal. The switch functions can be used to activate alarms or control relays at predetermined pressure levels.
There are two independent switches for Hi/Lo control functions. These are solid state and therefore not subject to wear. Outputs are selectable PNP or NPN (factory set; to be specified upon order). The optional dV-22 PP programmer (external supply) allows the user to change settings via two buttons and menu system. Alternatively, the programming unit is linked to a laptop/PC and can be used with Keller's 'Pressure Switch Console' software.
The following characteristics can be programmed for each switch output:
* Switching threshold.
* Hysteresis/window function.
* Normally open/normally closed.
* Switching delay.
Pressure sequences can also be monitored and recorded on the PC for application diagnostic purposes using the dV-22 PP programmer unit and Keller's Read30 software.
The PA-22 PS pressure switch was developed for applications in the automotive industry and is suitably compact and sturdy in design.
