Isolation amplifier with plug-and-play

December 2006 Data Acquisition & Telemetry

With a width of just 6,2 mm, the Mini Analog signal converters from Phoenix Contact now include an extended program of standard analog isolation amplifiers in addition to configurable isolation amplifiers. The modules are designed for signal conversion from 0-10 V to 0(4)-20 mA or 0(4)-20 mA to 0-10 V and are available as screw and spring cage versions.

As these signal converters are approved for zone 2, they are also suited for use in potentially explosive areas.

The T-branch plug connector provides the possibility of easily and rapidly supplying the devices with energy. The reduced installation time and the increased flexibility are major advantages. If individual modules must be removed from the rail, this can easily be done during operation.
