Vaal Triangle was the last destination in 2006 for The Control Roadshow. This is a vibrant industrial area that requires a visit every year, and as such has been hosted since the inception of The Control Roadshow in 1998.
This year had its own set of challenges, not the least being a venue change three weeks before the event. The regular venue was booked and advertised from January 2006, and in September the organisers received a phone call from this river resort venue to inform them that the booking was cancelled in favour of another booking which would pay them more money.
Circumstances allowed the organisers to find the Ingwe Guest Lodge - 9 km down the road which proved to be a very suitable venue and has already been booked for next year's event.
The networking of users and suppliers once again proved invaluable to all those in the measurement control and automation fields and this event hosted a few new suppliers as well as the return of many other professionals active in the area.

2007 promises to be another active year with venues identified for The Control Roadshow as: Bellville and Saldanha Bay, Phalaborwa, Nelspruit, Secunda, East London and Port Elizabeth, and Vaal Triangle.
