Monitoring equipment for pressurised control cabinets in hazardous areas

With the Silas controller, Bartec now offers a cost-efficient, ultra-flat monitoring unit. This unit allows manufacturers of control cabinets to supply equipment for zones 2 and 22. Features of the product are that it is easy to handle, is particularly flat, has separate purging gas input and output, and a stainless steel variant is available.
Programming is simplified by equipping the controller with a power switch and a selector switch for displaying and adjusting the different pressure values. It can be observed by means of an integrated display.
Three relays are available for signal and control functions. The states of the relays are additionally visualised by means of an associated LED display. Set points can be enquired and changed by means of control keys during operation.
The Silas control systems are available for small and large EEx pz control enclosures in zone 2 and 22. As an additional service, Bartec offers support in the assessment of Ex pz control cabinets in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC.
