The Pro-face LT Graphic Logic Controller Series combines control, operation and display functions into a single, economical controller with an easy-to-read graphic display. Until now, production control systems have generally consisted of multiple components, which took up valuable space and represented considerable costs.
This built-in controller brings multifunctional, high-quality control to a wide range of systems in applications such as food processing, textiles, printing, parts assembly, agricultural and maritime. The LT Series Graphic Logic Controller allows the user to build more accurate and safer production systems. Requiring less wiring and less space, the LT Series graphic display provides a simple look-and-touch operation.
The low-cost LT type H unit has 142,5 mm graphic touch panel display and is supplied with a variety of useful interfaces such as 32-point digital I/O, analog I/O, temperature input, high-speed counter input, PWM output and pulse output. For measurement control, the type H unit's analog I/O interface allows the user to convert numerical data to a line graph displayed on any screen. For fast and accurate positioning, the unit can be used for both high-speed counter-based positioning, and pulse-motor-based positioning. For temperature measurement, the type H unit is equipped with thermocouple K/J and Pt 100 features for monitoring and controlling temperature.
LT Editor software allows the user to easily write logic programs and create screens on a Windows-based computer. The file management function is convenient, and all basic operations are mouse controlled. A simple three-step process creates an application in minutes. It is possible to set up a logic program using 47 ladder instructions, create screens by choosing from 1840 pre-made parts, and then link programs and screens by dragging and dropping the ladder instructions for each screen.
Using HMI and a separate PLC with an additional analog or temperature input unit is high in cost, programming time and space required. With the LT type H, these expensive, complex, large-sized production control systems can be replaced.
Pro-face is represented locally by Shorrock Automation.
