Puls receives award for Technology Leadership

August 2006 News

The 2006 Frost & Sullivan (F&S) Award for Technology Leadership was presented to Puls for its accomplishments in the DIN-rail power supplies market. F&S gave the following motivation for the award: "Puls is one of the exclusive vendors for DIN-rail power supply products and is considered a pioneer in the market. The award lauds Puls for striving continuously toward providing value for its customers through innovative and high-quality products. In order to deliver high-quality solutions, the company invests heavily in R&D. Leading-edge technology, combined with strong customer service and support capabilities, is expected to ensure that Puls remains a strong competitor in the DIN-rail power supplies market.

Established in 1980 by Bernhard Erdl, a pioneer in switch mode power supply, Puls has led the industry in this field for more than 26 years. Its various technological breakthroughs and the constant expansion of its product portfolio have ensured that Puls remains the vendor of choice in the DIN-rail power supply market.

Puls has always been at the forefront of technological advancements. Puls' focus on R&D activities is reflected in its wide range of products such as MiniLine, SilverLine and the new Dimension series.

Puls' key strengths involve its constant adaptation to recent technological advances in the power supply industry. The company invests heavily in R&D activities, thus providing its customer with the best devices for their applications. The surface mount technology (SMT) has greatly helped Puls to reduce its products' sizes when compared to those of its competitors'."
