The Clip Project planning software from Phoenix Contact, which allows you to plan entire rail systems for control cabinets, can now display three-dimensional graphics in realtime. The standard STEP and DWG formats are available for three-dimensional graphics that are compatible with any mechanical CAD system.
The project planning program provides you with a complete selection of control cabinet components such as terminal blocks, surge protection modules, power supply devices, relays and bus modules. The program runs in the familiar Windows environment and features an AutoCorrect function that checks the design and supplements the required products. Feed terminals, special bases, covers and end brackets are automatically positioned by the program.
The project planning program offers universal compatibility through data exchange with Eplan, Excel and the CMS-Mark-Win labelling system. With Eplan projects, the program allows you to create entire rail systems and supplement the necessary accessories per mouse-click. This process only uses the preferred items that you want. The labelling data of the equipment is transferred directly to the label printer and thus manual and redundant data entry is eliminated. The complete documentation can be printed out in colour or black and white on any standard printer.
