Comtest rewards loyal dealers

Comtest, distributor of Fluke Industrial and Electrical test tools in southern Africa, recently hosted an awards ceremony where excellence and loyalty of its dealers was rewarded. The function was held at the company's new offices in Midrand, Gauteng. In addition to the awards, the latest Fluke products were demonstrated.

Awards were made in the following categories:

* 'Best Overall Performance' was awarded to Man-Dirk.

* 'Excellent Achievement' went to (in no particular order) Witbank Electrical, Stilfontein Mining, Century and Elegance (Century 2000), and Measurements Group.

* 'Best Performance - Export Region' was won by Central Technical Supplies.

* 'Comtest/Fluke Recognition Award' went to Tooltric, SA Tool and Repair Services, Engineering and Electrical Supplies, Toolquip and Allied, Control Systems Rustenburg, and Imesco.

Jos Meinama, Fluke's export sales manager for industrial tools in Western Europe, was present at the awards. He addressed Comtest's dealers on the company's range of tools for testing power quality as well as their new thermographic imaging range.

Meinama commented, "Fluke's extensive range of industrial and electrical test tools are distributed in southern Africa by our sales partner, Comtest, via its dealer network, many of whom I was privileged to meet afterwards at the awards function."
