Temperature Measurement

Temperature products easy to order

June 2006 Temperature Measurement

Thermacon Manufacturing has developed a CD which simplifies and speeds up ordering requirements for all temperature related products. Having launched the new concept recently, many of its clients are benefiting from its easy use.

Standard thermocouple assemblies and technical information is provided, and by filling in the matching questionnaire forms, these can be e-mailed back to Thermacon for checking. This eliminates costly time being lost to view samples, ensuring that manufacture can start immediately.

A recent survey conducted by the company has found that since the launch of this new concept some four months ago, almost 20% of all CD recipients are now using this handy tool to speed up their ordering process which ultimately lessens downtime.

About Thermacon Manufacturing

Thermacon Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of a complete range of RTDs (both Grade A and B), all types of ungrounded thermocouples (K,J,T,R,S) ranging from 1,5 to 12,7 mm in MI versions and larger for the tube type. A host of fittings and mountings are available for these temperature sensors with straight tube, angled, two sectional, spring and cap and many other configurations being manufactured for clients.

Outer sheath materials such as S/S, Inconel, Porcelain and Pythagoras materials are offered. Thermacon also supplies standard thermowells in either solid drilled or fabricated tube types. Also on offer is a complete range of temperature controllers, indicators and bar graph displays. Controllers are either of the simple analog versions with dial settings to the more sophisticated digital standalone versions with full PID, auto-tuning and fuzzy logic type. All inputs are fully programmable for either temperature sensors, mA, resistive and or mV types available. Outputs can be relay, SSR, or of mA to drive heater banks, solenoids, fans or valve positioners. Temperature transmitters complete the range which can be mounted on the head (Puck), Din Rail or pluggable. All products can be viewed on either CD or the company website.
