Sperosens has developed a 'spot-LED' product to be used as a back-up light inside a refuge bay in case of power failure. The product has unique features and various applications. Features and advantages include: high bright white LED light; built in redundancy; shock resistance due to LED technology; reduced cost-of-ownership - life span of five years; low power consumption; single or double sided; 12-hour battery back-up and built-in charger, and IP65 rating.
The devices will run off a 110/220 V a.c. supply, they are available in powder coated mild steel, stainless steel or plastic (ABS) housings. Lenses are polycarbonate lens and this is held in with a shock/vibration resistant rubber mounting ring. Applications include back-up lighting inside refuge bays in case of power failure and as a rechargeable mobile light.
