Numatics appointed sole Ultraline distributor
March 2006
News
Numatics South Africa has been appointed the sole southern African distributor for Ultraline rodless cylinders. Ultraline rodless cylinders are assembled in South Africa and are available in bore sizes from diameter 25 to 63. Any stroke is standard and delivery can be within hours of ordering. The Ultraline rodless cylinders are standard with magnetic pistons and can operate in a pressure range of 200 to 800 kPa over temperatures ranging from -20 +80°C. Ultraline's recently introduced range of rodless pneumatic cylinders is claimed to have the lowest leakage rates and best performance in this field. Ultraline rodless cylinders have a robust sealing arrangement that provides smooth running at low speeds with low friction, precise cushioning.
These cylinders have been used on a wide range of applications around the world. These include door actuation, screen printing, special purpose machinery and packing machinery. Machine builders and designers will welcome the flexible porting arrangements that assist in overcoming the common problem of small space envelopes by allowing seven different configurations of connections. The cylinders can be ordered with one or two side guides, which eliminates any side load. On some sizes, additional shock absorbers are often not needed, as there is an option of extended cushions.
Numatics is looking for suitable distributors in all areas. Interested parties should contact Bayford at the number below.
