IP67 Ethernet switch for field applications

Woodhead Connectivity's RJ-Lnxx ENHSA is a new Ethernet eight-port store and forward switch designed to operate without the need for any type of enclosure. It allows all devices to transmit data simultaneously without collision. The machine mount switch features address auto-learning and 10/100 auto negotiation that enhances bandwidth efficiency aiding determinism for control applications. No programming is required, allowing the switch to be installed and transferring data in minutes. It can be mounted anywhere, such as on the side of a machine, providing network design flexibility.

The ENHSA has an IEC IP67 rating when used with RJ-Lnxx cord sets, preventing contamination from dirt, oil and water. It operates in a temperature range from -40 to +80°C with no need for environmental controls. The Class 1 Div. 2 switch is designed for use in hazardous environments. It is vibration resistant and the power connection is via a four-pole Mini-Change connector.
