Complete support for new range of drives

Elquip Solutions recently became the sole agent for Berges VSD in South Africa and Africa. Berges inverters are available over a wide range, from 200 W to 355 kW. Programming is performed using an infrared link available on the user-interface on the front panel. Networking options extend from Profibus to Ethernet.

There are eight different inverters within the Berges range, which extends from the Smart Drive to the UD 7000. Input voltages range from 110 to 575 V a.c. The new range is suitable any number of applications through pre-programmed application of the appropriate drive. Elquip Solutions has examined the market, and has identified a demand for such a range of drives.

The company has set up an in-house drive repair centre and is able to perform tests, simulations and make repairs to these inverters. The picture shows some of the drives in the range.
