The WS Series from Mitsubishi Electric is specifically designed to work under rigorous conditions, with exposure to dust, high temperatures, and electrical harmonics such as those from winders, without the problems of dielectric build up encountered by other products.

The product line-up features compliance with global standards, long service life and high performance with the application of new technology, higher levels of reliability and flexibility - and a new system configuration on the strength of intelligent breakers.

New technology

To ensure 'one-class higher' performance, Mitsubishi has applied the Polymer Ablation type Auto-Puffer, the Jet Pressure Trip Mechanism and the advanced Impulsive Slot-type Accelerator technologies to its World Super Series range.

Interchangeable relay units ensure flexibility and accessories can be added to customise performance characteristics. The WS Series features a single frame size for circuit breakers with current ratings from 16 to 250 A, eliminating the need for a hybrid chassis and reducing manufacturing costs.

The series is designed with modern management and network communication in mind. Additional modules store data on breaker status and provide network capabilities for communication via CC-Link or Profibus DP.
