Two-way long-range remote control

Pear Alliance is offering a low cost, two-way long range remote control, consisting of two radios, each housed in an SABS approved UV stabilised tube, measuring just 40 mm x 350 mm. The remote system has an internal antenna that does away with the need for specialised RF connectors and cable, making the installation quick, simple and cost-effective.
The frequencies used are in the ISM licence-free band, so no licence applications or fees are required. The input is opto isolated and the output relay is rated at 1 A. The system is aimed at the farming and industrial sectors where long range remote switching is needed. The system has a line-of-sight range of 4 km. The two-way function allows for confirmation of the switch command, for example, the user could switch on a borehole pump and via a pressure switch, get confirmation back that the pump is running, and be warned should the pump fail. Pear Alliance offers the basic system as well as custom configurations.
