The Wago Winsta four-way, three-phase to single-phase distributor is equipped with a three-phase through connector (N/PE/L1/L2/L3), three pre-installed single-phase outputs (N/PE/L1, N/PE/L2 and N/PE/L3/) as well as a fourth, individually selectable single-phase output (N/PE/Lx).
Three-phase circuits can therefore be easily and flexibly converted to single-phase circuits and distributed as part of the building installation work. A typical example would be the separate supply of lighting and power socket circuits to each workstation in a two-person office. By means of a jumper, the electrical installer can decide whether the fourth single-phase output is to be associated with the phase L1, L2 or L3 without intervening with the wiring. In this way, the loading on the three phases when distributed over four feeders can be kept as even as possible, an important measure in reducing the total current in the N-conductor in the three-phase circuit.
If four single-phase distribution circuits are not sufficient, the pre-installed L1/L2/L3/L2 version of the four-way distributor can be additionally equipped with a WINSTA h-distributor in the positions N/PE/L1 and/or N/PE/L3. There are then a maximum of two single-phase circuits available on each of the phases L1, L2 and L3.
