IDC Technologies donates R25 000 in manuals

Fire & Safety
IDC Technologies, the engineering training provider, donated engineering manuals valued at R25 000, to Mangosuthu Technikon and the Vaal Triangle Technical College, in March 2005.
This is part of the company's continued commitment to assist in the education of budding South African technicians and engineers. Other than providing textbooks, IDC is exploring alternate avenues for transferring the intellectual property from its 180 engineering course to the traditionally disadvantaged educational institutions.
As in past years we are pleased to offer students free places at IDC's 2005 Southern African scada and MES Conference. The first eight, final year engineering students to contact IDC will be welcome to attend the conference. The conference is being run on 11 and 12 May at the Eskom Convention Centre in Johannesburg. IDC's toll free number is 0800 114 160.
