Advantech's PCI-1240 4-axis stepping/pulse-type servo motor control card is designed for general-purpose extreme motion applications. The PCI-1240 is a high-speed 4-axis motion control card for the PCI bus that simplifies stepping and pulse-type servo motor control, accessing more performance from motors. The card's intelligent NOVA MCX314-motion ASIC contains a variety of built-in motion control functions, such as 2/3-axis linear interpolation, 2-axis circular interpolation, T/S-curve acceleration/deceleration rate and more. These motion control functions are performed without processor loading during driving. For advanced applications, the company offers Windows DLL drivers and user-friendly examples to decrease programming load. Through a free bundled PCI-1240 motion utility, users can complete configuration and diagnosis easily.

The PCI-1784 is a 4-axis quadrature encoder and counter add-on card also for PCI bus. This card includes four 32-bit quadruple AB phase encoder counters, 8-bit timer with multirange time-base selector and four isolated digital inputs and four isolated digital outputs. Its flexible interrupt sources are suitable for motor control and position monitoring.

The PCL-833 is a 3-axis quadrature encoder and counter add-on card for the IBM PC/AT and compatibles (ISA bus). This card allows a PC to perform position monitoring for motion control systems. The card will accept an input pulse rate up to 2,4 MHz (1,0 MHz for quadrature input rate), there is a 24-bit counter that can cascade up to 48 bits, a 4-stage digital filter and the card is optically isolated up to 2,5 kVRMS.
