ID World 2005

March 2005 News Infrastructure

The ID World International Congress, the annual conference and exhibition on advanced automatic identification technology, will take place in Rome, Italy on 2, 3 and 4 November 2005.

Wise Media, the organiser of the event, says that the venue selected for the occasion is the Aurelia Convention Centre & Expo. The official hotel for the conference delegates is the St. Peter's Crowne Plaza. Once again the auto ID industry will meet for the most exclusive networking and knowledge-sharing event involving the opinion leaders and decision makers of the ID community.

This is the only international forum that looks at the advanced auto ID industry as a whole, rather than focusing on a specific technology or vertical sector. The event addresses industry trends and opportunities such as the convergence of physical and logical security, e-passports, EPC networks, secure payments, etc.

The conference is organised by Wise Media, with the support of an international technical committee of industry experts and represents the most comprehensive international forum on the status and opportunities offered by auto ID technologies such as RFID, biometrics, cards and data collection (see www.idworldonline.com).

The exhibition will feature 'Meet The Buyer', a series of one-on-one meetings between potential suppliers and customers. End users with specific needs can provide a profile to the exhibition organisers who will in turn match them to the most relevant solution suppliers. Good matches will have the chance to arrange one-on-one discussions in private meeting rooms.
