The new Gefran 800 V controller comes with valve parameter feedback making valve controlled processes uncomplicated. Procedures that are valve controlled are often difficult to control accurately as the process might be relatively fast and lags in the system may be present depending on the valve position in relation to the actuator and sensor.

Gefran, a leader in automation and control, has recently launched a new motorised valve controller that incorporates valve parameter feedback. As a result, it is easier to control fast processes, efficiently and accurately!

Access to parameters (such as actuator stroke time, minimum pulse time, impulsive intervent threshold and dead zone) are possible with the new 800 V. Valve controlled processes are simplified and accuracy, stability and response time to external parameter changes are significantly enhanced. The unit controls the process without potentiometer feedback due to its short acquisition time of 120 ms and high resolution of 30 000 steps.

The 800 V's main input is universal and easily configurable. Control outputs are available in relay (open/close) or analog current or voltage. A timer controlled output function is available to speed up/delay process control during startup/shutdown.

Serial communications interface RS485 (RS232C compatible) make acquisition/modification of parameters possible on-line. Moreover, the new Gefran controller/indicator series is equipped with a service port that allows programming via Windows-based software package, Winstrum. As a result, parameters may be stored when downloading onto multiple units, new units or when replacing existing ones.
