Companies on the move: Supervisory and Control Expertise
February 2005
News
The company's success in the sales and service of the wireless data acquisition and wireless process control market has led to new developments within SCE.
SCE's Pretoria office has moved to Centurion and now incorporates an in-house training facility to accommodate training courses for SCE's ScadaPack line of products, wireless communication products and FIX Scada products. The company is the sole solution provider for FIX products and has employed Ziggy Govender (previously employed by AMS) to support the product.
SCE has also obtained the sole agency in Africa for the Freewave spread spectrum data radios. These radios integrate seamless into the ScadaPack line of products and offer wireless data solutions around the world ranging from mission critical to recreational. All radios are built and tested according to military standards and operate in temperature ranges from -40 to +75°C. The quality and versatility of the radios has led to their use in locations ranging from Mount Everest and Antarctica to the Amazon rainforest.
The new physical address is 3 Einstein Avenue, Highveld Techno Park, Building A, First Floor, Centurion, 0157. The fax number is 012 665 0912.
