Condensation can prove fatal for electronics. The outdoor enclosure from Rittal effectively prevents the possible formation of condensation, without major technical input. A roof plate screw-fastened at a distance allows permanent air circulation, whilst a bonded insulating plate in the roof provides additional protection against dripping. The enclosures may be mounted directly on the base, on a concrete base/plinth, or onto a wall. By dismantling the roof plate, the outdoor enclosures may be mounted on top of one another. Depending on the application, customers may purchase the enclosures in either zinc-plated sheet steel powder-coated in RAL 7035, or for more extreme requirements, in stainless steel 1.4301.
The economical enclosure is available in sizes ranging from 800 x 1200 x 350 mm (width x height x depth) to 1200 x 1200 x 350 mm, and is sealed at the rear and sides. It is suitable for all outdoor applications, from railway lines to the water industry.
