Configurable digital indicators - made in SA

Rhomberg has recently launched a new range of locally manufactured digital indicators. All units are microprocessor-based, making them easily programmable from the front key pad. The units all feature a bright 4-digit LED display housed in a standard 48 x 96 mm industrial housing.

There are currently three versions available: the DI-P Process Indicator, which accepts standard process inputs ie, 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-10 V and 0-5 V, which are scalable to read in engineering units; the DI-TC Thermocouple version which can be programmed to read various thermocouple inputs (J, K, N, R, S, T); the DI-PT PT100 (RTD) temperature indicator.

All of these units are available with various options: programmable relay outputs (The relay switching points are set from the front keypad as well as the hysteresis and relay response time; isolated re-transmission output (4 to 20 mA); 24 V d.c. excitation voltage on the process input version.

All key features such as zero and span adjustment, relay inversion, delay on relay switching and hysteresis can be programmed from the front keypad.

Through Rhomberg's new Johannesburg-based temperature sensor manufacturing facility, the 'thermocouple junction', it is now able to offer a complete selection of temperature products, all locally manufactured.
