Raytek, a leading world-wide provider of non-contact infrared temperature inspection tools, announces key enhancements to the ThermoView Ti30 thermal imager that optimise intuitive operation and analysis and reporting capabilities to make it an even more powerful and easy-to-use inspection solution designed for predictive maintenance, building inspection, and quality assurance applications.
In addition to a broader temperature range of minus 10 to +250°C, the enhancements focus on the Windows-based InsideIR analysis and reporting software, included with the ThermoView Ti30. All existing clients of the Ti30 will be contacted for a free software upgrade. The software, now available as Version 2.0, allows users more flexibility to choose how temperature data contained within thermal images may be viewed, it enables easy and complete report creation, and makes the ThermoView Ti30 a more useful and effective tool for predictive maintenance routing.
Up to 100 thermal images collected during an inspection route and downloaded to a PC can be easily adjusted and labelled using the software, then archived or exported, complete with temperature data, as a zipped file for sending by e-mail to another ThermoView Ti30 user. Recipients can make further adjustments to the images, such as changing emissivity and reflected temperature values, or change viewing preferences, using the same InsideIR software. In addition to the ability to click on an image and see point temperatures, users can now also overlay a temperature grid onto the entire image to display average temperatures for each segment, or view the minimum, maximum and average temperatures of an individual selected area.
Images from previous inspections, complete with location names and temperature data, can be uploaded to the ThermoView Ti30 for use as a quick routing guide when checking repairs or for routine checks of critical equipment - a valuable inspection tool that is believed not to be included with any other thermal imaging camera in this price category. Users are prompted in the display exactly where to make their inspections. The new images can then be compared to previous ones of the same location using InsideIR software. Other enhancements include greater ease in creating thermographic reports, including the ability to incorporate digital photographs of the inspection as well as easy export of the data into common file formats.
