Information Security
IFM Electronic's Efector m sensors are especially designed for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The sensors are available in inductive, capacitive and magnetic types and are rated IP 68 or IP 69K making them resistant to high pressure cleaning and aggressive cleaning agents.
The IGT/IIT sensors were subjected to a temperature shock test and were placed for 1h in 100°C and then 10 minutes in 0°C ice water and they passed successfully in more than 50- cycles. This makes the sensors resistant to temperature shocks and their increased sensing ranges increase safety and ensure a higher machine uptime.
Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel and PEEK sensing face, the sensors operate on 10-36 V d.c, PNP with a three wire connection. They have sensing ranges from 8-22 mm and a switching frequency from 100 to 400 Hz. All sensors in the range have overload, reverse polarity and short circuit protection and operate in a temperature range from 0 to 100°C.

Sensors & Transducers
With the LI level sensor, you can reliably detect leakages and point levels on a permanent basis. The capacitive measuring system has no moving parts. Malfunction or maintenance issues due to deposits on the mechanical parts are therefore eliminated.

Sensors & Transducers
The pulp and paper industry poses a major problem for most photoelectric sensors. The high level of contamination in these dusty, dirty and grimy environments makes it impossible for most competing sensors to operate and sense reliably and efficiently.
