Fast snap-in connection for sensors

July 2004 Enclosures, Cabling & Connectors Infrastructure Products & Solutions

The easy-to-install M 8-sized round plug connectors from Phoenix Contact enable fast, cost-effective onsite set-up. The three and four-pin snap-in plug connectors are available with snap-in locking in both straight and angled variants. Compared with screw connections, the snap-in technology allows easier handling in narrow spaces: during assembly, the M 8 SI connectors are simply plugged in to connect suitable devices - such as sensors.

The plug connectors are available in the following cable qualities: PUR/PVC grey, PUR/PVC black and PVC fluorescent orange. Based on a minimum order quantity of 25 pieces, cable lengths may be individually specified from 0,2 to 3 m in increments of 0,1 m, and from 3 to 40 m in increments of 0,5 m.
