The association between two of the strongest and most trusted brands in the industry, namely Circuit Breaker Industries and Mitsubishi Electric, has been reinforced with the re-branding of CBI Automation and CBI Motor Control.
The new brand name and design incorporating both CBI and Mitsubishi, was launched at a series of Mitsubishi Sales and Marketing conferences held in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. At these events, representatives of Mitsubishi Electric, Germany gave local delegates an overview of future marketing and sales activities.
According to Karen Heitmuller, CBI's marketing manager, the intention behind the branding exercise is to cement the association between the two companies. CBI is the sole distributor of Mitsubishi automation and control products in Sub-Saharan Africa and their combined strength in PLCs, inverters, servo, HMI, variable speed drives, motor control and switchgear, makes them a force to be reckoned with in the automation and control fields!
