The second version of the Internet software, Pluscon SAC Select, from Phoenix Contact, enables a more specific search for articles from the extensive SAC product range, including all new products. An e-shop application is also available for customers who are already registered. Besides the German and English versions, the software is now also available in French, Spanish and Italian.
The start screen menu displays the SAC product group items: distributor boxes, custom-assembly plugs and sockets, sensor-actuator cables, and Quickon wall feed-throughs with quick connection technology and/or M8/M12 connectors. By entering item attributes, users can quickly and easily find the desired products. In addition to the catalogue range, special cable types with variable cable length or different cable material can be specified as variant items. All products are displayed with technical data, 2D drawings and the appropriate accessories.
The selected items can be stored conveniently and on a project-by-project basis in a file (shopping cart). The loaded shopping cart is then sent to the manufacturer by e-mail or fax for delivery and price confirmation.
The Pluscon SAC Select software is available online at http://select. phoenixcontact.com. A free CD-ROM is available as an offline version.
