National Instruments South Africa hosted an Electronics Test Seminar in Durban and Midrand on 12 and 17 February 2004 respectively. Attracting some serious movers and shakers in the engineering and test management communities, the company was elated by the attendance numbers, which met and exceeded their attendance goal by 210% for KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng collectively.
The primary focus of the seminar was to educate engineers and test managers about how to automate typical electronics tests using leading National Instruments products - TestStand, LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and DIAdem.
A host of industry solutions were presented, including presentations and demonstrations on how to integrate mixed signal testing with NI's Compact Vision System in TestStand; how to program a PDA running PocketPC or PalmOS to be used as part of a measurement system using LabVIEW PDA; how to save test results, generate reports and share results throughout the organisation with DIAdem; and more.
