Studio, available from ProMicro, is a powerful, integrated collection of automation tools that includes all the building blocks required to develop modern HMI and scada applications that run on Windows NT, 2000, 98 and CE, or in an Internet and intranet environment. Its simple drag-and-drop, point and click development creates sophisticated interfaces.

Studio is capable of importing graphics from more than 15 different formats and supports more than 40 predefined dynamic effects such as shadowing, blinking, rotating and motion. It provides on-line configuration and remote management capabilities and integrates easily with desktop applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Realtime dynamic and animated graphic screens, trends, alarms and reports can be accomplished while conforming to industry standards such as Microsoft DNA, OPC, DDE, ODBC, XML and ActiveX. An advanced math library is available with more than 100 standard functions, as well as a flexible and easy to use scripting language.

Studio's sophisticated alarm management system is able to send alarms to various utilities such as screen, e-mail and Web browser and is able to record alarms to a file, printer or to a SQL-database.
