Gold awards for switchgear company

November 2003 News Products & Solutions

At the AMEU civic function held in Pietermaritzburg on 25 August, Circuit Breaker Industries (CBI) scooped two gold awards as the best low voltage and equipment company and the best after-sales/maintenance support company. In addition, the company received a silver award in the category best energy metering company.

The awards are the result of a survey undertaken by an independent consultant on behalf of ESI Africa and conducted amongst municipal engineers in municipalities throughout South Africa. According to Claude Middleton, International Sales Manager of CBI, the gold award for after-sales and maintenance support was particularly gratifying to the company, as this had previously been identified as an area in need of improvement.
