Information Security
The SG 09 forms a protective screen by generating a curtain of up to 79 infrared criss-cross beams with protection up to a height of 1610 mm, ensuring detection of passing passengers and thus preventing the automatic lift doors from closing prematurely and causing injury or mechanical damage to themselves.
The complete system consists of only a transmitter and a receiver in an ultra-slim, vandal proof, black anodised aluminium housing. The power supply unit is incorporated in the receiver, with a supply voltage ranging from 12-30 V d.c. and a solid-state relay output enabling direct connection to the door operator/lift controller. It has a fast response time, high immunity to exterior light and reflection, LED indication of system status with a range of up to 4 m.
Intended for use either in dynamic or static installations, for both central and side opening lift doors. The automatic microprocessor-controlled system will dynamically adjust the transmitting power level for each individual beam, thus obtaining correct excess level and hysteresis at the actual range. It will also automatically compensate for contamination, ageing of the components and moderate misalignment.
The automated time-out feature allows up to three nonadjacent beams to be ignored if interrupted for more than 60 s, reducing time-consuming service calls and down time.
