Tectra Automation will be showcasing comprehensive, value-added automated solutions, displaying advanced products and solutions in pneumatics, linear motion, AC servo drives and profile systems at the Hytec Group Stand for this year's Blue IQ Smart Industry Exhibition.
As sole importer of the entire Rexroth range of products and components in the southern African region, Tectra will inform visitors on matters ranging from its local manufacture of rodless cylinders to a model demonstrating the application of a typical Rexroth linear module, in this case the PSK precision series, for a 3-axis high precision pick and place unit. Housed in a frame made from aluminium profile, the unit simulates the assembly of an electronic component. The precision and speed of the unit is achieved by using the Rexroth Linear type PSK modules together with Rexroth servo motors and drives. Supplied as ready to mount units, the linear modules greatly simplify the design and manufacture of multiple axis machines.
