The new absolute singleturn encoder with a throughput hollow shaft and stainless steel housing (Series 5876) was developed for the environment of food processing, bottling, dairy, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. All exterior components of the housing are made of non-rusting, austenitic chrome-nickel steel which fulfil the demands of the food processing industries.
The electrical connection of the encoder with SSI or parallel output is done via a very flexible PVC cable (parallel) or with M12 connectors (SSI), solving all the problems of difficult cabling. Now a simple plug-and-play connection system helps to save time and errors during assembly. This series is supplemented with accessories such as cables, couplings and cordsets.
The high protection class of IP 66 resists aggressive media and guarantees high hygiene. The outer housing is 58 mm with a throughput hollow shaft of up to 12 mm. The product is built up in the patented integrative technology from Kübler and several codes up to 14-bit resolution are available. All outputs are short-circuit proof. An ageing and temperature compensation feature is standard with all Kübler encoders.
