SEW-Eurodrive is now offering its MFZ.7 field distributor. Field distributors are important installation interfaces within the system that reduce project-planning efforts, installation time and start-up time for the user to a minimum. They rationalise the connection technology between supplying network (energy bus), control voltage (24 V auxiliary bus), communication connection (fieldbus) and the pluggable hybrid line to the drive.
Together with the fieldbus interfaces, the connection to all fieldbuses common in the industrial sector is ensured, such as Profibus, interBus, DeviceNet, CANopen and AS-interface.
At present, there are three field distributor connection modules:
* MFZ.6 with maintenance switch and separate wiring spaces for connecting Movimot drives.
* MFZ.3, the competitive variant without maintenance switch and separate wiring spaces.
* MFZ.8 with maintenance switch and Movimot frequency inverter.
New to the programme is the field distributor MFZ.7 with Movimot frequency inverter but without maintenance switch and without plug connection option, in a slim and compact design suitable for limited mounting space.
