With Quickon, the quick-connect technique from Phoenix Contact, the time needed for connecting the freely configurable M12 round plug-in connectors is reduced by some 60%. Simply remove the cable sheath and connect up - without any stripping, screwing or soldering.
This plug-in connector is available as a four-pin version and hence all the advantages of the quick-connect technique can be used for establishing connections to equipment with a standard M12 interface. Pin or socket contacts are available for this connector for straight conductor routing. Individual sensor cables of differing conductor lengths can be produced quickly and cost-effectively.
In the plugged-in state, the connector meets the requirements of protection class IP67. Single cores of cross-section between 0,34 and 0,75 mm2 can be safely connected up for currents up to 12 A.
