The HXT63 series of transmitters from LTH, combines modern technology with over 35 years experience in building quality sensors for liquid analysis, to provide a range of competitively priced transmitters covering a wide range of process applications.
The series comprises of four transmitters to measure the following parameters:
* HCT63 - contacting conductivity or resistivity.
* HET63 - electrodeless conductivity or solution concentration.
* HPT63 - pH or redox.
* HOT63 - dissolved oxygen.
The devices feature custom IP66 enclosures, head mounted or wall mounted versions with detachable cables, bar graph indication of the current output status, a backlit multifunction display, simple programming, dual isolated 4 to 20 mA and relay outputs as well as three digital inputs. On line multilingual help is performed with text error messages. The relays can be configured for off or on, time and pulse proportional.
The process temperature can be measured and transmitted as well as the process parameter because of the fact that the HXT63 offers two 4 to 20 mA outputs. It also has two relay outputs for process control, and three digital inputs for remote control via a PLC.
A further enhancement is the multilevel security. Day to day operator access can be limited to viewing data and settings only. Full access is allowed to the instrument programmer. There are two independent back-up locations, so configuration data can be saved. They can be used for fast configuration, recovery after tampering and emergency restoration of settings.
For applications requiring accurate measurements it is now made possible to calibrate the instrument and the sensor to either a standard solution, or a titrated solution concentration. The off-line facility allows the instrument to be adjusted without disturbing the external processes. Some of the benefits of the HXT63 series are that they have detachable sensors, cable termination for supply and outputs via detachable connectors, low voltage operation, signal transmission over long distances and local indication simplifies calibration and commissioning.
