Residential Estate (Industry)
CHI Control, Alstom Automation and Meissner form Alstom low voltage equipment (A.L.V.E.), subsidiaries of the Alstom SA group of companies. Together they offer a series of in-house product training courses. These incorporate up-to-date training techniques, which satisfy the market requirement for 'hands-on' as well as theoretical training.
The courses are varied and broad in scope and include product applications, functions and benefits. All courses are taught by trained, experienced instructors who are familiar with both the theoretical basis and 'real-world' appli-cations of the techniques and procedures communicated through the courses. Classroom instruction is complemented by practical exercises employing the type of equipment users will be working with on a daily basis.
Standard courses offered include:
Basic programmable logic controller programming. Advanced programmable logic controller programming. Motor protection theory, soft starters, variable speed drives., basic product knowledge - general standard products. Introduction to different topologies of uninterruptible power systems.
