May 2003 News Integrated Solutions

Process Automation and Information Technology 2003 is once again set to be an industry event of note. The Exhibition will be held from 09:00-16:00 on 20, 21 and 22 May. It is an event dedicated to those employed in this fast-moving field, covering the full spectrum of products and services available.

Says Hanli Kritzinger, events director at élancommunications: "The impressive list of exhibitors includes a diverse range of international representation as well as local companies, which in turn includes a number of 'Proudly South African' manufacturers. Process 2003 will showcase solutions enabling you to control, regulate and automate your processes and operations. The presentation of new products, applications and technologies will play a particularly prominent role, and you will gain a complete overview of the world of automation technology."

On Tuesday, 20 May, early morning activities will focus on a Profibus technology update, starting with a breakfast function sponsored by the Southern African User Group members. Guest speakers at the event include Koos Smit, executive director of Siemens I&S, and Oliver Puls, marketing manager - network technology, from Phoenix Contact.

Process 2003 promises to be an informative, educational and enjoyable event, with the 'automation theatre' at registration where visitors will be presented with the latest solutions on offer by exhibitors.

The exhibition will be staged at Kyalami Exhibition and Conference Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg. (The venue is situated in close proximity to major routes, and ample secure parking is available.)

Entry to the exhibition is free of charge, but strictly for those employed in the field of process control and automation. Registration forms are available at the exhibition on all three show days. To pre-register, visit www.process-expo.co.za
