NewElec, local designer and manufacturer of a wide range of quality, hi-tech, motor protection and control equipment, has recently passed its first EN ISO 9001 audit.
The company received its EN ISO 9001 certification in December 2001. Since then, NewElec has expanded its R&D and operations and is focusing on LV motor protection and control relays and aiming to provide interfaces to all the major fieldbus protocols. At present the Profibus DP protocol has been implemented with other interfaces under development providing entry to the industrial IT and safety sectors, in addition to their existing client base. In order to maintain its position as a leader in its field, specialised personnel have recently been employed to increase the level of expertise and to provide clients with the latest technology and superior after sales service.
Newelec's research and development program is continually being upgraded, providing state of the art motor control solutions, as well as continually supplying specially designed products for a wide range of applications.
