The new SD range of compressed air meters from ifm electronic detects the standard volume flow directly according to ISO 2533, making corrections, in case of temperature or pressure fluctuations, unnecessary.
The sensor is designed to monitor compressed air in industrial use such as argon, carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The compressed air meter with display and totalise function is now available in different accuracy grades.
The high measurement dynamics of the system enable the reliable detection of even minute quantities such as leakages, with accuracy and repeatability ensured by the integration of the measurement sensor’s key elements into a defined pipe length. The sensors have a large measuring range and meet IP65 requirements in a 0–60°C ambient temperature range.
