Energy Efficiency @ Work – call for papers
May 2011
News
The Board of the Southern African Association for Energy Efficiency (SAEE) is proud to announce that it has received technical sponsorship from the IEEE Power & Energy Society for its SAEE Convention 2011 (SAEEC2011) titled Energy Efficiency @ Work.
You are cordially invited to submit an abstract for consideration to speak at the SAEEC2011 – deadline for submission is 18 May 2011.
“IEEE strives to be essential to the global technical community and to technical professionals everywhere. IEEE members connect with others to share ideas and obtain new knowledge. The goal is to be universally recognised for the contributions of technology and of technical professionals in improving global conditions.” - extract from the IEEE visual guidelines.
The SAEE’s vision is in line with that of the international organisation, IEEE, in that it aims to improve global conditions through its activities of which the annual convention - SAEEC2011 - is a part of.
The technical sponsorship dictates that review processes are in place to ensure that papers presented at the SAEEC2011 are of the highest calibre in the industry. As the SAEE views the enhancement of the local energy efficiency knowledge pool in high priority, this process has become a requirement to ensure optimal delegate satisfaction.
Paper topics are welcomed on the following topics:
* International perspectives on energy efficiency.
* Financing and tax incentives.
* Mining and industrial energy efficiency.
* Renewable and alternative energy resources.
* Energy management and standards.
* Energy projects and case studies.
* Co-generation.
* Energy efficiency in buildings.
* Appliance labelling and energy efficiency.
Logon to www.saeec2011.org.za/default.aspx to submit an abstract online and for the author guidelines, or e-mail Yolanda de Lange on [email protected]
