NewElec’s NH Series motor protection relays are designed to protect motors in LV applications from 5 to 550 A with all the protection features required to protect three-phase TEFC motors.
Overload protection is provided for either cyclic or sustained loads, as well as for earth leakage, phase unbalance and phase loss during start and running.
Locally designed and manufactured, the relays’ user-selectable cold curves range from Class 2,5 to 32,5 on a single dial. The hot curve is limited to 30% of the selected cold curve with full thermal memory. In order to maintain type 2 co-ordination, the NH relay blocks the main trip relay when earth leakage currents exceed eight times motor full load current. The modular design of the series permits door, chassis or CT mounting.
