With its slim dimensions, high flexibility and overall IP67 protection, this compact switch is the perfect solution for either position indication or safety protection applications.
This high quality electromagnetic sensor is based on reed contact and magneto-resistive (or Hall) electronic technologies. Reed contacts have always played an important role in electromagnet sensors. They do not require an external power source and with the proper contact protection they can directly switch from AC to DC current loads. This type of contact has an extended operating temperature range from -30 to +150°C.
The inherent advantages are the insensitivity to shock, impact and vibration, and the resistance to wear. High operating frequencies, long operating distances, broad operating temperature ranges and excellent repetition accuracy make these switches invaluable to the process component of industry.
