Endress + Hauser’s 50th celebration

On Friday 14 November last year, industrial instrumentation specialist, Endress + Hauser, celebrated 50 years of accomplishment with a fantastic evening of supper and entertainment in a big reception hall at Caesars. SA Instrumentation & Control was among those invited.
Michael Ziesemer (marketing and sales director at Endress + Hauser Holdings, Switzerland) presented a run-through of the events from Dr Georg Endress in 1953, up to the present. Stand-up comic, Mike Jonas, had us splitting our sides with his comedy routine (his dodo impersonation was something to experience). The Marimba Band played familiar tunes from the 60s and 70s, delivering a very polished performance. Children gave a choreographed dancing display and we were treated to a very interesting three-course meal, complemented with a fine choice of wines. After that the guests took to the dance floor. It was a special evening that will be remembered.
