FIRST Tech Challenge: SA Qualifying Tournament 2019

Teams and spectators are invited to the FIRST Tech Challenge South African Qualifying Tournament, a competition whereby school children get exposed to engineering principles, software programming and CAD design.
Date: 2 March
Venue: SAP Auditorium, Sci-Bono Discovery Centre, Miriam Makeba Street, Newtown, Johannesburg.
Programme for the day
7:30 Team registration and pit area setup
8:00 Robot inspection and judging
10:45 Opening ceremony
11:15 Drivers meeting
11:45 Robot game matches start
12:30 Lunch break
13:00 Robot game matches continue
15:00 Robot game semi finals
15:30 Awards and closing ceremony

Team registration fee is R3000 per team, which can be sponsored by the SAIMC subject to conditions. (See website for details.)
