Siemens announces accreditation as a local supplier of Profibus and Profinet training

Through its training arm Sitrain, Siemens currently offers a comprehensive range of courses on PLCs, drives, controls, HMI, industrial networks, process control and instrumentation. To complement this, the company recently announced the launch of its new PI international certified training programme, designed to help networking technicians enhance their existing skills and gain valuable new certification.

This Profibus and Profinet suite of training services has been designed with industrial networking learning needs in mind. As an accredited PI Training Center (PITC) Sitrain is now in a position to offer internationally certified courses covering a wide variety of technologies and disciplines, such as application development, software development, installation and fault finding, on both Profibus and Profinet networks. The certification programme offers training on vendor independent hardware and software designed to help trainees build their skill sets through both theoretical knowledge and practical real-world applications.
