Dedicated SMC Pneumatics sales counter now open at Hutchings Hydraulics

January 2017 News

With over three decades of experience in the pneumatic and hydraulic industry, and as a Sales Partner of SMC Pneumatics in South Africa, Hutchings Hydraulics (KZN) has announced the opening of its dedicated SMC Pneumatics sales counter at 98 Khuzimpi Shezi Road, Congella, Durban.

Thanks to a large SMC consignment stock holding, Hutchings Hydraulics now boasts over 800 SMC Pneumatics line items and a dedicated, knowledgeable team who are ready to help solve any automation challenges. The consignment stock ensures shorter lead times and availability of products from SMC’s extensive portfolio.

As renowned pneumatics and hydraulics specialists, the seamless collaboration between Hutchings Hydraulics and SMC Pneumatics in the KZN region is one which meets both organisations’ objectives and aligns closely to their values. Having completed several large installations both locally and in Africa, the partnership ensures an extensive reach to customers.

“Over the past year we have developed a strong relationship with Hutchings and the results have wowed both the SMC team and the industry,” says indirect sales manager Coen Pretorius. “SMC South Africa’s footprint is growing and the opening of Hutching’s sales counter is the logical next step to meet demand.”

Hutchings Hydraulics has invested heavily into the SMC brand, with the opening of its dedicated SMC-inspired counter sales distribution desk another highlight to the ever expanding portfolio. Managing director Paul Newman elaborates: “SMC’s offerings meet our customers’ needs and the partnership has proved beneficial for all parties. We continue to invest not only in our brand but in SMC to ensure that we can provide a solution to meet every need. We invite customers to our new Congella offices to experience both the Hutchings and SMC brands.”
