After running in the same format for many years, the Process Expo organising committee has come up with a new concept that looks set to rock the automation calendar later this year. The first Africa Automation Fair is set to open its doors at the Coca-Cola Dome in Randburg from 5-7 May. Organiser Hanli Kritzinger captures the vision: “Our aim is to host a world-class technology event that showcases all the newest process solutions to plant owners, engineers and buyers within the industrial control and automation technology arena. It is also officially the largest event of its kind in the southern hemisphere.”
It is a bold approach that promises to dish a feast of automation, instrumentation and process control right here on our doorstep.
