Omniflex always takes note of customer feedback, and recent market response about the IP rating of the SIL2 Omni2 door warning signs and slave alarm units, originally designed with an IP55 rating, has resulted in the release of an IP65 version. The door warning signs and slave alarm units are used in conjunction with radiation, gas and hazard detection monitors to warn personnel against entry through doors when an abnormal condition is present. These alarm units are designed for use in a wide range of industries to increase the safety of personnel and they meet the safety requirements of IEC61508 SIL2 critical applications. The Omni2 door warning sign also complies with Sellafield‘s functional specification (Spec.Func.0714-1) for door warning signs. Both the IP55 and the IP65 rated versions are immediately available on order.
